Dr. D Reverse Kit

(1/4) > >>

NoWhereToRide:
Just an FYI. I installed a Dr. D Reverse kit on my Rap 700.  Rode it for about a month before I noticed that when I cut my handle bars all the way to the right that the cable was being pulled and would go into reverse.  Yes it would be hard, but possible.  It's a simple fix of rerouting the cable and you can use the stock cable.
To elaborate I guess the only time it would be an issue is if you were making a sharp right turn and downshifting to first (missing first and going into reverse).
Maybe I'm the only dumbass but I just thought I would put it out there.
On a lighter note, my buddy who doesn't do any of this own work took his raptor 700 in for service.  The tech told him his left from bearing was shot.  Most likely do to cleaning it with a pressure washer (getting H2O into the dust seals).  Anyway to make a long story short, he didn't listen to the "Kid" and it locked up sending him over the bars.

the first time i installed the dr.d reverse lever, i didnt read the directions....bad idea....they routed it different than stock.
