the 28" trailer and more importantly the propane heaters, salamanders and generators it housed are all gone...so no camping out at the races for me unless someone's bringing a motorhome :)

well WTH......  :(

Driving a motorhome there would be huge $$$ in gas alone.

I know, we used to have one with a dodge 440.  but it was warm.

I will go watch the nationals, like I did last year.  But drunk and in the warmth of a blanket in the stands, shouting about how much faster I am than all of them if only I could have been bothered to race. ;)

You miss it.. Part that pos out and score a 700. It'd be worth it. Plus you'd get to hang w/ your dad. He's full of wisdom.

I just get all confused when I see something that makes sense in this thread.

I never respected the PWU's declaration that no relevant material could be posted in OT...doesn't matter what site it's on I still choose to reject the premise  :moon:

You rebel.  And I'm retired from the PWU.

You are?

WTF?

Pfft. Old guy. Next thing you know, your hip will start hurting.......Oh wait.

I've cut way back on my posting.  I try not to be such a whore.

Not sure the sasquatch would do well at the ice races with sandals on.

700 would be too slow, my 660 build was too slow.  Hybrid or an old R is the way to go for the MI series.  Nationals on a large track like last year would need at minimum 75-80hp out of a big quad like a raptor to be competitive.

The sandals are put away till next summer.   :(

But I didn't know I would have to go on the ice.  I could watch it from land but there is no way I'm going on the ice.

They flood the pits and the entry/exit lanes around the track so you don't ruin screws, so you're bound to find the ice :)

They used to hold them out on the lakes, but haven't for close to 15 years now.

The Sasquatch wears sandals too?

I thought it was just Aaron.

Seriously?  75-80HP? ???

You couldn't solve it w/ gearing? that seems way extreme?

My wife wears Reef sandals. Very comfortable. That's all she buys.
