The ninja will strike tomorrow.

Looks like a perfect fit. Now, lets see how long my little brother can ride their Rancher until he notices the Yamaha cover on the thumb throttle.  I'll grind it after I am sure it fits. :grin_nod:

The throttle ninja has struck!

You hoes thought I was kiddin', didn't ya'   I did this because mine was broken, and will not affect Rancher throttle response. Mine would stick open occasionally when turning hard right. Broken at the threads. All good now.

notice anything missing on the right? Those are the goofy grips my sister bought me for my birthday, look cool, they work. MEH....

here's the unsuspecting junker/victim, unaware of it's inevitable fate:

oh no, something here just isn't right...but what is it? I can't quite put my finger on it:

swap/mod complete, no-one is the wiser. Really not much of a difference. Easier throttle pull. Oh and a guaranteed 20-30-hp boost.   :grin_nod:

Don't f##k with a ninja!

 :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja:

That 1st pic is hilarious. Did you switch just the throttle or the throttle and cable? Just curious, cause the throttle boots look switched too. "Easier throttle pull" what about the thumb position? Anymore comfortable? Did you take it for a test ride to find out or what?

4gunz...just the throttle assembly-total time 30 minutes both of them. Had to tweak the rancher because it was way to tight and wanted to rev. Easy mod. If you are looking for a new throttle, hondas are easieer to find and cheaper than raptor throttle.

And hell yeah, I rode it. Not a giant change, but noticeable comfort upgrade. Not so much in throttle pull, but more in position. It seems to fall under your thumb better, as oppposed to reaching for it.

I want to see if my brother even notices the big fat yamaha insignia on the throttle.  They never ride the thing...it just sits there rusting.
