Ok, not what i really want to do, but it's time. I only ride once or twice a week to work. Any free time I have is family time or RAPTOR time!
Thought I would put it out there for you guys to check out. We need to make room in the garage, and thankfully, my wife has decided she would rather keep the Prairie 360, so something has to go. ATV'ing has turned into more of a hobby than the bike, and I can't include my family. Basically, I am tired of paying interest for something I get to use 1-2 times a week and 5 months out of the year. I'll put cash away and hopefully go with an FJR1300, or even a BMWr1200rs when the kids are older. Still sporty, but more comfortable for long rides, geez I'm getting old.
2003 Yamaha FZ1 low 11,800 miles. I am second owner
998 cc's, 6 spd. Very fast, and...35 - 40 mpg. 45 if you can stay out of the throttle ( I cannot)
Wheelie machine, shares most specs from previous year R1, but in a standard or "naked bike" setup.
New rear tire last year (1500 miles on it)
aftermarket taller tinted windshield, still have stock.
I put crash bars on it to protect engine cases.
stator side engine cover new thanks to  future brother in law who dropped it on it's side, also new shifter.
motopak sport saddlebags, pretty sun faded though.
i have a few extra parts to go with it too.
Gas tank has two dents from original owner having handlebars too low and dropping it on it's side, bars ramming into tank.
here's a couple pics, i will add more soon. I am washing it today to take more. Listing locally, ebay eventually.
book 5445
asking 5000 $4000 NEED IT GONE!!!!.
thanks for looking fellas.

detuned slightly, and geared lower. Basicly, the previous year's R1 technology. It's no hayabusa, but It will do 160 easy, but the acceleration is what i like about it. And you sit more upright, it's a standard bike with a superbike engine. think Bandit, 919, z1000 etc.
i really like how the engine is exposed on it. not gonna spend the money on a 700?

Thanks bro. ;) I love it, but no time to ride.
That's one of the only good things about living in the south. You can ride year round. I wish you would have put your bike up for sale in September I think it might be in Alabama right now.
